Ingredients
- chicken thighs (bone-in, skinless) — 400 g, chopped into chunks
- fresh ginger — 30 g, sliced
- sesame oil — 1.5 tbsp
- goji berries — 1 tbsp
- hot water — 800 ml
- salt — 3/4 tsp
- cooking wine (optional) — 1 tbsp
Steps (beginner-friendly)
- Rinse chicken chunks under cold water and pat dry with paper towel.
- Heat sesame oil in a pot over medium-low heat for 30 seconds until it smells nutty but is not smoking.
Tip: Warming ginger and sesame oil follow classic confinement principles to drive out 'cold'; the protein-rich broth supports recovery and milk supply. Great daily lactation soup.
