Ingredients
- firm tofu — 300 g
- baby bok choy — 200 g, chopped
- garlic — 3 cloves, minced
- soy sauce — 1 tbsp
- salt — 1/4 tsp
- cooking oil — 2 tbsp
Steps (beginner-friendly)
- Crumble the tofu with your hands into rough bite-size pieces, then pat dry with paper towels.
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the tofu and spread it out.
- Let it cook undisturbed 2 minutes until golden crusts form on the bottom, then flip the pieces and cook 2 more minutes — resist stirring constantly.
- Push the tofu aside, add the garlic to the oil, and stir 20 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the chopped bok choy and stir-fry 1-2 minutes until the leaves wilt and stems stay slightly crisp.
- Add 1 tbsp soy sauce and 1/4 tsp salt, toss everything together for 1 minute, and serve.
Tip: Don't stir too often — let the tofu develop golden crusts.
